only thing I did was use the anti static packaging that the motherboard came in as a barrier between the motherboard and the carpet but other than that I didn't really care TvT

it's more of a production thing really if you're building multiple pcs daily or if you're making a pc and you don't have the money to spend if something does go wrong

its fine to build your pc without considering static electricity. its dumb if you build pcs every day. never heard of anyone frying a pc through static electricity irl. but if its a 1% chance, its likely gonna happen if you do it all the time
