Girl, respectfully, as someone who’s just been through the visa process with my partner (British; work permit) and who’s also been through the visa process in the UK twice (student visa; graduate visa), first of all: you’re not getting deported. Your visa application got rejected. In a world where teenagers get deported without reason, it’s extremely important to call it for what it is, and in your case, what it isn’t. Secondly, whilst I understand how inconvenient it is and how much it sucks, and I do understand how shit it is of Migrationsverket to reject your application after assuring you they wouldn’t — it IS your responsibility to stay informed about the migration law, and it is your responsibility to prepare for what would happen if your application was denied. Inconvenient and expensive and shit, yes. But posting a video stating you got deported when this isn’t legally correct, and then complaining that you have to do something that you easily could’ve googled yourself to, is not it.

I don’t understand why people are hating in the comments, she said that’s insane because she met all the requirements to extend her stay legally so she expected to get approved, her frustration is valid it doesn’t matter where she comes from, any other person would also be frustrated. Notice she’s getting ready to leave the country when they denied her application. I feel your frustration but every thing happens for our best interest just keep this mindset and ignore the haters

To the commenters: Sweden treats married couples and couples dating as the same. There's no legal difference in the application process. Marriage is not necessary. She was likely rejected because she applied from inside of Sweden which is often a very big no no according to Swedish migration laws. Lately they've also made it harder to switch which permit you initially arrived with to another permit (ie. student to relationship permit, etc).
