Yes it took eight days but the time will pass no matter what you're doing. You saved an entire mortgage payment. Great job. I started my own micro locs and never regretted it. Trust the process.

I use a small plastic yarn tool and it’s makes retie so much easier then using the regular loc tool

Microlocs are high maintenance on retie days and wash days lol. Remember to braid and band when shampooing. Dont use conditioner yet. These were mine after 3 months, i had 444 locs but combed them out. I restarted and i now have 240

I’ve had mine for a year and some months now all I’d say is..trust the process,try not to manipulate them as much, definitely continue to braid and band and enjoy your new journey 🥹💕

I’ve learned that with locs, you don’t need to use heave creams because they only weigh down your hair, cause buildup, and attract lint! Light weight spray leave ins and light oils are the way to go. 🙏🏽🫶🏾 Hope this helps!
