my community college professors were there because they wanted to teach, a lot of my non major (education) professors at a university seem like they genuinely hate teaching and just do it to fund their research. CC professors do it for the love of the game and it made them so much better at actually teaching things and they were so much less stuck up about everything I miss it

I did CC in Seattle but it’s much more accepted to transfer into a four year cause of the promise program (city pays for your associates degree) people are always like “you made the financially smart decision”. It’s more of a community disconnect cause you’re joining the college two years late.
