@antoniobuiltdifferent: AC not working? Check this before you call an HVAC company. 🚨 Most homeowners check the thermostat and air filter—but there’s another important part many people don’t know about: the HVAC float switch. If your condensate drain gets clogged and water starts backing up, the float switch can shut your air conditioning system down to help prevent water damage. I’ve been working in maintenance for 10+ years, and I’m going to start showing you the simple things I’ve learned that can help you troubleshoot your home, prevent problems, and potentially save money on unnecessary service calls. Save this for the day your AC stops working. 🛠️ #greenscreen #hvac #ac #DIY #airconditioner
Thanks for the information. Would you happened to be located in NC?

My sensor stopped working and I had a glorious leak and 3 days to fix. The HVAC companies never really did a proper service because it was a mess

I had this problem where the water flowed from drain pain to other parts of the HVAC and leaked all over the floor. I don’t think I have the float switch on mine. Is it something you can add?

AC was working great for me, but drain pain wasn’t on properly. Had it disconnected and new drain pain installed now the unit doesn’t work and there is a “leak” that hasn’t been found. 😢 Don’t want to spend money but might be forced to. My guy isn’t returning messages.

My drain flush out line is connected to a sink in one bathroom. Should I just hook a wet dry vac up to where the drain line connects and flush it out? If so, how often? My HVAC is in my attic and no drain line is outside

My unit is not n my attic and the drip pan ends up over flowing in the attic! What can I do to keep the line clean so it drips properly? It always ends up with some sort of gel or sludge clogging it.

How can I increase the water pressure in my double master bathroom sinks? There is no debris clogging the aerator, it’s been unscrewed and cleaned properly. The other sinks flow fine great.
