Using vinegar can cause you to purge more but with water only it allows the clay to dry out the acne without causing a lot of irritation and you can spot treat & leave it on overnight....

You’re actually meant to add BOTH water and apple cider vinegar because the acv can be abit too harsh so the water helps to dilute it 💕
