This is the most meaningful thing I have heard to date about racism. Thank you. I adopted biracial children and they often do not notice the racism they encounter but I do. As a white person I am terrified for them to enter the world on their own. The world will see them as black and far too many will react to them as black. They may not have the skills to navigate the world as black adults because I can't teach them what that really truly entails...white people be better!
