The asymmetry of vpr fans’ sympathy for the women on the show is kind of inscrutable to me. People say “well brittany knew who she married” but then love Ariana & Katie as if they didn’t also know who their men were. It’s bizarre.

THANK YOU. Also, as someone who worked as a peer counselor for DV survivors for years, Brittany’s behavior is very very typical. If you can’t relate to her behavior bc you’ve never experienced DV or you’re an outlier who was able to leave quickly, lucky you!

You are 10000000% correct. She is annoying sometimes but she's a real person and did she make a bad decision with Jax? Yes, but she made the moves to leave, that's hard. When you are coming out of something like that you have all tgis doubt then to have people tell you, well you are to blame makes it that more difficult

It’s so scary. Annoying people don’t deserve to be abused either….. especially at the this high of a level. I keep seeing people saying that Brittany is just being petty and she’s trying to make it so Jax can’t make money and it’s ultimately hurting Cruz. Did everyone black out all the episodes where Brittany states she’s paying for everything alone and Jax isn’t contributing to Cruz’s financial care?????
