There is a season of training. A season of waiting. A season of preparation. A season of hiddenness. And eventually, a season of manifestation. Joseph spent years in slavery and prison before he became Prime Minister of Egypt. David was a shepherd boy before he became king. Moses spent years in the wilderness before God called him to lead Israel. Even Jesus lived in relative obscurity for years before beginning His public ministry at about 30. The waiting was not wasted. The preparation was not pointless. The hidden season was not forgotten. God was building something in them that would be necessary for the season ahead. Sometimes we become frustrated because we want the manifestation without the preparation. We want the promise without the process. We want to arrive without having to go through the season that prepares us to sustain what we are praying for. But God is not only interested in giving you the promise; He is interested in preparing you to carry it. So if you are in a season of waiting right now, do not despise it. Learn. Grow. Heal. Build. Pray. Obey. Become. Your current season is not your final destination. There is a time for everything, and when the appointed time comes, what God has prepared you for will manifest.
