If you want to redo that battery check the cells and replace the bad one/s if you can. That or just harvest the cells. Either way. Still good for something.

you could probably revive that 36v pack. check single cell voltage and if its above 2.5v you can try shock charging it by directly trying to send charge over the raw power leads instead of the bms. i am guessing its just the bms doing its job trying to prevent further damage, but statistically its safer risk the pack now than leaving it in storage and the pack decomposing and chemically reacting
