I completely agree - Portugal had not only the best seafood but food in general. Their fresh grilled sardines are amazing, their numerous cod dishes including the cod and potato fritters- just so damn good!

With all due respect, go to Galicia (northern Spain, just above Portugal) and you'll see some things. They also have the best beef in the world. And it's not just my opinion; many of the world's best chefs say so.
