Nah, the real problem is social media and the comparison mindset. There are millions of homes for $200-250K, In decent neighborhoods, with decent schools. A normal married couple, with two incomes can absolutely afford a home.

Sounds to me like college may be the problem……….worthless degrees. Most of them at risk to be overcome by AI. I know a lot of young guys in the trades that are still able to buy houses. Perhaps you should explain the situation from that angle.

In 2008 they bailed out the banks instead of the American people to the tune of $600 billion an insane amount. In 2021 one year after Covid the Fed printed $6 trillion and DC gave it out like candy $6 trillion, 10 times the amount of the bank bail out one year after Covid. This is the 25 to 40% inflation we’ve seen in the last five years. government go away, you suck term limits and age limits now. Big government touched housing, college loans, and healthcare. All three have quadruple. Stay away.
