its bc chinese translates names. like Alice becomes Ai-Li-Si. Its not bc we dont know how to pronounce them, its there more to make the whole sentence flow. And tbh, it should be like this in english too, im not gonna walk on eggshells watching every accent. Also dont chinese names get translated as well? Like mr Li you be typin that shi as Lee. Do we complain? no. it goes both ways

Exactly. If people are not used to other languages, it will take a lot of practice that VAs just aren't going to have the time for. They're just doing their best or what Hoyo says.

Deadass I think people just cannot hear the difference in pronunciation with the other languages if they’re not familiar with them so they’re biased to be more critical towards their own language

Not everyone even listens to the other VA languages and knows issues with them, there’s people that think Paimon ONLY speaks third person and aren’t aware it’s just a thing in English

Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and GLOBAL. They are not just localization for Britain or United States. That's what I expected but even hoyo doesn't care so why should I. But some other gacha games do care about pronunciation and non problematic VAs.
