I feel divided. In one hand I feel oh how fun, yes how true (!) and I agree with you. But on the other hand I have this awful jealousy that you (and people with your skin, eyes, complex and structure, can say something like this. Like yes you can skip makeup and only do the fun side of face painting, but that’s because you look flawless without it. I cover up to look like you (the features mentioned above), not to be someone else.hope that makes sense and no hate !!

I’d love to know your thoughts on this factor and your thesis! Do you think that if you ‘fit’ within a beauty standard (whether that be Caucasian, East Asian or any certain culture), this affects your relationship with the beauty industry? Are these individuals targeted as much? Does having an ‘ideal’ beauty standard mean you avoid the effects of the beauty industry. Love your ethos ❤️
