Lowk they don’t even need to be similar. Added Russian after spending years learning French and bc of how big of a change the Russian is, it’s like a seal broke in my brain and french comes out so much quicker and easier, it just feels so familiar. And the Russian is also easier to remember for whatever reason

i learned this when i was cheating on my german hw… i went to a german school, my mother tongue is spanish, so i had to write my essays in english to then translate to german it to get it to make sense
