so can I ask a question does this mean that you don't believe in once a dollar say for faith alone because I know plenty of people you can talk to that won't even react that way you know and you can say the love of God is to keep his commandments and we would agree with you because that's what God says in his own words but that doesn't mean salvation and we love because he loved us first Grace actually humbles you and Grace actually keeps you calm and cool under pressure hence the resting in Christ finished work but I do like this thing is this right here could be flipped and even the devil came masquerade as an angel of light which that can be reversed to put too to make it guessing game good thing we've got God's word

This is so true. Christians who, feel like they are good. Feeding the hungry. Helping the homeless. Get so irrationally angry at the mention of pork or Sabbath mostly.

One absolutely amazing passage about this subject is in the book the Shepard of Hermias chapter 42:1-27. It speaks of the two spirits that are over us in great detail and talks about their traits. That's why 1 John 4:1 tells us to test the spirits as to whether they are from Elohim or not.

If we could just prove God to anyone, how nice it would be. But God wants us to leave the liar, a liar. Leave the thief a thief. A none believer cannot see the truth. Man is like a room with the door closed, the darkness stays in the room and if we open the door then light can enter the room and the darkness has to come out and if the light stays in the room then the darkness cannot come back into the room. We are to let the light shine out of our room so others can see our light shine in the dark and it will glorify God in the sight of the believers.
