@bestboybenson: Reminiscing on the day I adopted Benson back after The Seeing Eye determined he was not suited to be a guide dog 🥺 For those who don’t know, I was Benson’s 2nd puppy raiser while I was in college. I got him at 11 months old and did my best to help him through his anxious feelings to give him the best chance at becoming a seeing eye dog. After his formal training evaluation, it was decided that he would be better off as a pet rather than a working dog. I decided to say yes to adopting him back and it was the best decision I ever made ❤️ These are photos from the adoption day and hold a very special place in my heart. This boy is my world 💕
