My 8 year old is adopted and has a hard time thinking that he was "given away" by his first set of parents. I'd love to maybe have a professional athlete like you discuss something like this. It breaks our hearts for him to think like that because he is our world! We had him since he was 6 weeks old!

Now this is the documentary/movie they should put out to show the Blind Side creators, how to write a real script of different melanated folks taking in kids that aren't theirs. The Nix family genuinely love Tez and it wasn't to "get clout" because there own child (Bo), was just as good and on his own path to the league. I'm glad Tez got his shot because he deserves it.

They didn’t legally adopt him they took him on and he never left. They love this man. He has two sets of parents which is a blessing. However he has them as his stable and loving family
