It's always crazy to me. People think training a bird is only a 1,2,3,4 step process. every bird is different, and even in the same species, they can react very differently. i take someone that can watch the bird and know when you need to do 1,4,2,6 step process to gain birds trust. not to brag, but over the years, I've picked up on most of my birds. Little tells of what she wants. and I like to use what i call the mimic method to interact with my bird. so i would react the same way a bird would react to anger, happy, excitement, and trust. i haven't done free flight with my severe macaw, not because i'm afraid she'll fly away. she is very timid and hugs my shoulder/head out side and doesn't wanna be farther than two feet from me. my biggest worry is something startling her and she flys into a tree and forgets she can fly back to me, since she's not the best flyer. lol love your videos, you can tell, you have a great bond and a lot of trust built up with your birds.

My one concern is birds of prey, I had a cat get scalped TWICE by a bird of prey. Yeah it was night, but there are day predators and what if they went after your parrot?
