@charlotte.slinn: Being on maternity leave whilst living pay check to pay check is hard. Ive got my little one to care for, a wedding to save for, bills to pay… and I was so fed up of saying “no” to coffees, lunches and plans with friends because I couldn’t justify the extra spending. I wanted more financial breathing room without missing out on this precious time with my baby. Then I came across a first-time mum online who was creating and selling digital products. I remember thinking… “If she can do it, why can’t I?” I already loved creating things, so I decided to stop overthinking it and give it a go. For the first time, I felt hopeful that I could create an income around my family, rather than choosing between the two. Now I create digital products that can sell again and again after creating them once. I can work around my little one, spend more time with my family and finally say YES to those coffees.It’s given me something I desperately wanted — more freedom, more choice and less financial pressure. Fast forward to now... ✨ I’ve created products that are selling in the background of my time spent with my little boy ✨ I’ve been able to ask to return to work part-time
✨ It’s contributed towards Christmas saving pots. Wedding funds and family holidays
✨ And I have so much more time with my son For anyone new here, I create and sell digital products — planners, templates and guides people can download instantly. No stock. No packing orders. No post office runs. And although my reason for starting was wanting more time with my son, you don’t have to be a mum to want more freedom. Maybe you want to pay off some debt?💸 Save for a house? 🏠 Have more spending money.💰 Reduce your hours. Or simply build something that’s yours. Whatever your reason, I think it’s worth knowing there are other ways to earn than simply working more hours. I spent months watching other people do this, convinced I could never be one of them.
