@abc7chicago: A bear family found themselves in a soggy predicament after becoming stuck in a water tank in the suburbs of Los Angeles County. Footage captured by Tyler Christensen shows a mother bear along with her cubs as they were trapped inside a cistern in a park in La Verne, California. Footage released by the Los Angeles County Fire Department shows the mother bear and two of her three cubs exiting the tank in Marshall Canyon Regional Park hours later. The bears had apparently squeezed through a 1-foot-wide opening in the concrete structure and became trapped inside for more than 12 hours. Crews used a saw to widen the hole and place a ladder for them to crawl out, officials said.
