I love what you’re doing. But maybe next time I have the budget be for toiletries or baby items. Also maybe go to a pediatrician’s office and see if they have any sample formulas that they’re willing to give you guys even if it’s just one or two that you can put in the blessing box. Any sample medications. Like children’s Tylenol children’s Claritin. We are coming up on sick season. And I know that the clinic my children and I go to they always give me sample size Claritin during the fall season because people’s allergies are really acting up. I got 4 bottles yesterday. She gave me one for each of my children and then one for me. And I know that really helped because namebrand Claritin is expensive. But maybe go to the Dollar tree and get some toothbrushes toothpaste a four pack of toilet paper. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant. And maybe even get some sample sizes at times because I’m sure that there’s also homeless people that stop by that blessing box. I know what the dollar tree you can get those little boxes of tuna and crackers. I think it’s the bumblebee brand. Those would be good for a homeless person because they can’t necessarily make a meal. Maybe add some bottled water in there. Also, if you have any PR that you don’t use or you know you won’t use before it expires put that in your blessing box. You can get baby snacks at a Dollar General for a little bit cheaper than you can at Walmart. Like the Gerber baby puffs. The Gerber baby Cheetos. You can get a $.99 package of baby wipes. Or if you’re willing to, you can spend the $20 on a big box of baby wipes and then just put one or two packages in there at a time every so often. Also, have you thought about opening up an Amazon storefront and allow allowing people to purchase things that could go into your blessing box.

i always reccomend powdered milk. it’s shelf stable and most people need milk that use these blessing boxes but can’t afford it!!!
