@bettylately: This was one of the best hiking experiences I’ve had in Iceland.🥹 Moderate Glacier-Hike: 📍 Skaftafell, Iceland 🧊 Vatnajökull/Falljökull Glacier 🥾 ~6 hours ⛰️ Challenging ( hiking experience recommended!) 📅 End of October ⭐️ 5/5 This was honestly a 100/10 experience. You go much further onto the glacier than on a typical glacier tour. There are incredible views across the ice and you end up standing between these insane ice formations and the sky. It’s a long and demanding hike, so good fitness, proper hiking gear, water and enough snacks are a must. The tour is guided, and you can only access the glacier safely with a guide. The views were absolutely unreal. 🥹 I would do this hike again in a heartbeat. 🤍 #iceland #glacierhike #skaftafell #vatnajokull #MyHikeRatings
