@davinyotruelove: okok so, when it comes to stevens fusions, casting them is very tricky. for stevonnie, river gallo has always been my stevonnie cast for many years. stevonnie is an intersex and nonbinary character, which is what our beautiful river gallo is as well, while also visually being a good match for stevonnie. they encompass the beauty and experience of stevonnie. the downside is that i know stevonnie is half indian, and to my knowledge river is not. im sorry if this casting upsets anybody, if there is another actor you guys think fits stevonnie better let me know :) as for smoky, i know there are people who view them as a black character, but i am not one of them. steven is white, and i casted amethyst as latina, so i chose to cast smoky as latinx as well. sara ramirez is a nonbinary actor as well, just like smoky :). as for sunstone, while shoniqua is not nonbinary as far as im aware, she is sunstones voice actress. and i feel she works very well for sunstone as a live action cast, she embodies all of their warmth and joy very well ! with rainbow quartz, i know dolly parton is no longer with us. thats part of why i chose her, to honor her!! she looks like rainbow to me, so i wanted to include her ☺️ also ik malachite megan fox is a stretch but i didnt know who else to pick😭 #stevenuniverse #stevenuniversefusion
