I have a bunch of 8GB sticks of DDR4. I pulled some before we escrapped 300 towers last year. I grabbed a few i7 processors as well. I just grabbed them in case someone might need them for an older system. The only thing wrong with them was, we can't run Win11 on them. I gradd a bunch of 256GB and 500GB SATA SSDs.

why the heck would they waste ddr4 chips like that instead of fake chips, they are also very pricey now, unless they are hoping that you put it with some cpu that has both a ddr4 and ddr5 controller and they somehow figured out how to make it work in ddr4 mode
