My situation was very similar and my estranged husband wanted everyone to think that he was the breadwinner and that he took care of me but it was actually the complete opposite. I left 4 months ago and he keeps calling to tell me that he misses his house and his bed but he hasn’t said anything about me.

30 years married, 9 years divorced he was also the only man in my life. He was very successful yet, I secured a loan on my own to buy my new home after our divorce. He on the other hand, had to have his sister co-sign in order to buy me out of the house we lived in for 25 years which he also “chose” on his own because I was working!
