jcrew actually uses plus size patterns and plus sized fit models for their product development for their extended sizing options. it’s a shame that they don’t market their plus size options, bc they do plus size right.

I don’t know why they don’t advertise it, but J.Crew has consistently carried plus sizes in nearly all of their apparel products for a very long time. Even if they aren’t photographing their models with plus sizes or advertising it, unlike some brands, they have not stopped serving the product. Almost all of my wardrobe is J.Crew and I’m so grateful that they’ve stuck to carrying plus sizes even if imperfectly. ✨

The company is not “plus size friendly” if they don’t bother to include larger bodies in their marketing. So many ppl saying they didn’t know about their extended sizing is bad. Hopefully they change that.
