100 percent legal. It tells you in the boarding pass what time the doors close. The seat goes to the next person in stand by. Thank you . Be on time next time

Nope youre wrong… they were past boarding door closure and had already released their seats. Those seats are then released to standbys who were boarded.

Is all in the contract of carriage - Failure to comply and show to your flight on time will result in your seat to be reassigned to a stand by guest, if none seat will go out empty.

he followed policy and u are wrong sir i am a gate agent at d-10 that means 10 min before departure if ur not there and flight is full we have the right to drop ur seats and reassign them at that point to a stand by passenger

I’m thinking his seat was dropped because he was too late so his seat was given to a standby passenger. It’s now too late to undo and redo which then would delay the flight. It sounds like the man tried to explain. Just show up on time.

In my opinion.. this attorney is not good at his job ... it says arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time and clearly this attorney didn't listen to the manager he gave an explanation

If you are not on board 15 minutes prior to departure, your seat will get dropped. At D15, after seats are dropped the standby list is then assigned those seats. It is in the Contract of Carriage which the passenger agreed to when they purchased their tickets. This has absolutely nothing to do with religion and everything to do with the passengers poor time management skills.
