This is an unfair comparison in my opinion. I am speaking uncanonically when I talk about a L x Misa situation. Depending on a headcanon where they are just together a character like L would treat Misa (his significant other) right. He was fairly nice and empathetic with people in the anime. In the actual anime L is the detective and Misa is a suspected serial killing mass murderer he apprehended on the basis of solid physical evidence. It was not personal. He didn’t kidnap a girl off the street and torture her for personal gain.

1. She was suspected of being Second Kira, of course he did that he didn’t know what she could do to him. 2. She didn’t know it was him, because of the voice changer. 3. if L were to be the one who killed the murderer do her parents she would have loved L the same way she loves Kira. So L is better than Light. And Lawmisa is the least toxic of Yagamane and Lawlight.
