Totally agree. Once we start normalising small sins, they can gradually lead us towards bigger ones, until eventually we begin to see even major sins as normal. May Allah forgive us, guide us, and grant us His mercy 🤲🏻

She’s right, we shouldn’t be okay with minor sins at all, it all adds up as well. Travelling is a bit of a tricky topic. I truly believe it’s permissible for women to travel alone as long as she ensures her modesty, isn’t doing crazy things and makes sure it is safe. We now have planes, trains and cars, not camels and security all over.

May Allah bless your sister 😭 we shouldn’t look at how big or small the sin is we should look at the one we are disobeying . Also I don’t think many people know that minor sins can turn into major . Minimising minor sins and not feeling bad can make it into a major one

I love this convo because recently I realised this is basically arrogance. Thinking that because I’m doing something “better” than a worse sin so it’s okay (or justifying it that way) as if I’m on any level to be negotiating with non-negotiable rules. We all have our tests and struggle with different things so it is a journey!!
