most Europeans have generational wealth. family businesses are hundreds of years old . small businesses are owned by extended families . homes are passed down from generation to generation. they have an excellent education and health care system. there mass transit system is excellent also. This allows Europeans to live with much smaller overhead. they live an active, educated and healthy life for a fraction of the United States..

There was a popular joke in the USSR: “Europe is decaying. But gosh, how beautifully it’s decaying.” Even during Soviet times and behind the Iron Curtain, people could see through constant Soviet propaganda that Europe’s so-called “decay” looked far better than the everyday reality in the Soviet Union.
