@omidan_olayinka: Sometimes, two things can be true at the same time. A mother shouldn’t be the one encouraging her daughter to walk away from her marriage over every little disagreement. But at the same time, should a mother support the husband when her daughter is genuinely being maltreated or living in a toxic home? There’s a difference between protecting a marriage and protecting a daughter at all costs. And there’s also a difference between encouraging a woman to leave too quickly and encouraging her to endure what she shouldn’t. So where exactly should a mother draw the line? 🤔
