And the beautiful thing is AI models have zero memory. Every time you ask a follow-up question, the app resends your entire chat history. Turn 1 equals 500 tokens. Turn 4 equals 3,500 tokens. You pay exponentially more for the exact same question lengths.

Companies are only doing this because the fear of missing out after the .com craze in the late 90’s/early 2000’s btw. Common sense would tell them that it’s a massive bubble nearing the point of bursting.

Not all companies charge per tokens. There are some which charge per seat and some use a hybrid model. Choosing the right one is quite tricky but important if you don’t want to ruin your company. But realistically someone has to pay for AI. AI companies operating at a loss (which most still do) isn’t a sustainable business model.

The current situation is as it is, and it cannot be changed for the time being. The only way to reduce costs is to change the cost of the circuit path and the usage method. If the price of the TOKEN of the model you are using decreases by 80%, these can be ignored
