Some announcements are easy to write… and then there are the ones that make you stop and realize just how much a chapter of your life has meant to you. ❤️ After 11 years in Parking Enforcement, I’m officially closing this chapter and taking the next step in my career as a Special Constable. It’s hard to put into words what these 11 years have meant to me. When I started, I never could have imagined the people I’d meet, the experiences I’d have, or the opportunities that would come my way. One of the most unexpected and rewarding parts of my career has been becoming the face of our unit and finding a real passion for social media, public education and media relations. What started as sharing parking bylaws and educating the public turned into something I genuinely loved. I’m so grateful I was given the opportunity to tell our story, take people behind the scenes, answer questions, challenge misconceptions and show the people behind the uniform. To everyone who has watched a video, followed along, asked a question, shared a post, left a comment or stopped me on the street — thank you. You made this part of my journey so much more meaningful than I ever expected. To my supervisors, thank you for trusting me, supporting me and giving me the opportunity to grow, try new things and represent our unit in my own way. I’ll always be grateful for that. And to every coworker I’ve met over these 11 years — thank you. From the people who were there at the beginning to those I met along the way, each of you has been part of this chapter in some way. The laughs, the crazy days, the difficult days, the friendships and the countless memories are things I’ll carry with me. Leaving something that has been such a huge part of my life is incredibly bittersweet. There’s so much excitement for what comes next, but also a lot of emotion in saying goodbye. I will always be proud to say I spent 11 years in Parking Enforcement. Thank you for an incredible 11 years. ❤️ I’m grateful for where I’ve been, proud of what I’ve built, and excited for what’s ahead. On to the next chapter. 👮‍♀️❤️
