I run things by by husband out of respect. Especially if it’s over a certain amount, so I completely get it. And he sometimes talks me out of things he knows I will regret or won’t really like. He helps me keep my impulse buying in check. But he never cares what I buy.

from day one me and my husband have had a joint bank account. he works and so do I it all goes in one account and most of the time it's all for bills there is no extra for spending or splurging.

Same, I don't know why some people take offense when couples consult with their spouse to purchase certain items. we are broke but even when we weren't, a certain price had to be approved because we budget. if we both buy higher priced items it can mess up or budget

thats WILD peope would make that assumption 🤣 im not married but i sometimes i ask my dad his opinion if i should get something because 1 i value his opinion and i just feel hes very honest. He makes me think with more clarity. And so many times hes right like you i think is it a pretty want? or is it only just pretty and thats why i want it but ill never use it😂😂😂. Also have they not seen your yard sale buys??? this girls saves money more than you realize im in SHOOK at what she finds

I’m 58, been with my hubby for 38 years. We still consult each other, especially for ‘wants’ not for ‘needs’ Nothing wrong with it. My husband is the same. He always says, whatever makes you happy! 😉🥰❤️
