I unbuckle my toddler from his car seat and tell him, “Go over to Sissy’s side.” He gets out of his car seat but stays inside the car. He walks across the back seat to his sister’s side, I close his door, and he waits there while I walk around to get his sister out. By the time I open her door, he’s already standing there ready to get out with her.

Baby first!!!! Used to get my toddler out first, he used to do so good at listening. It took one time for him to try to chase an airplane and he ran out in the parking lot and I will always get the non mobile/locked-into-a-stroller kids out first
