Make sure you have the 3 stainless washers(2 flat, 1 bent) that sit on top of the water pump impeller held down by that plastic piece. Those washers don’t come with the water pump kit and they prevent the impeller from moving up and down making it lose pressure.

Blocked exhaust plate with salt debris.
Pull exhaust plates and cylinder head, clean it out and reinstall with new gaskets

there's a blockage in the water lines and or bad thermostat. your about to do a job that's not needed and cost a customer a ton of money. pull the thermostat and vinegar flush it

Take the hose off and make sure there isn’t a blockage in the fitting. Failing that take the exhaust plate off and check the 90° bend at the bottom of the plate. Narrowest point in the water system and they always get blocked up. Mine had loads of little bits of old impeller trapped in it.

clean out the tell tale hole with a piece of wire, spiders or other insects get in and block water flow.
