I gave my daughter my Uber login when she started college a few years ago for “emergencies”. One random Tuesday night at 9 pm, the app tells me that her ride would arrive shortly at the dorm to take her to a bar. She ignored my text and call, so I changed her destination to a nearby church.

I once changed the WiFi password to "haveyoudoneyourchores". My daughter kept demanding the password and I would just say "have you done your chores?". She was furious when she found out that I was giving her the password the entire time.

we have a rule that if I have to ask twice, you get a second task. if I ask 3 times, 3rd task. the tasks get progressively harder too. I never have to wait. they always do things the first time I ask.

My mom had a mommy box. If she asked us to do something more than once, an item of ours would go in the mommy box and we would get it back when we turned 18. Well, when I hit 18 I asked for my stuff and this woman laughed in my face and said “the mommy box was the trash, bye” 😂😂😂

My son wanted to use the iPad. I told him to read a book first. I said, “Go choose a book from the bookshelf, and then you can use your iPad.” He huffed around the house searching high and low for the iPad. It’s on the bookshelf next to his fav big book. 🤷🏼♀️

hate to admit it now, but parents had the best idea to get me home on time for curfew. Had to give them $20 before I left. Get home on time, I got it back. After I lost $60 I was never late again 🤣🤣🤣
