Castiel was a brilliant manipulator in seasons 4-6. I wish they'd kept that apart of him. My problem with his "weakness" in later seasons isn't because he isn't as strong, but because the way Kripke wrote his character was beautiful and the other writers just couldn't match that. They ruined Castiel because they didn't even want to write him in the first place. I will forever hate screen writers but spn writers have a special place in my hatred.

Naomi really did her big one when she got to post season 4/5 Castiel 😭 I really wonder what she took because prior to her he seemed more idk, savvy to human nature? I guess because the writers changed 🤷‍♀️Even Metatron couldn’t restore that with pop culture.
