I live in jamaica where a lot of ppl bleach and you are right, but you are also wrong, most of them do look like how describe, but then you have the ones that you got no clue is bleaching unless you know them before they started.. it all depends on how they used the products, some used it "heavily" that's bleaching, and some use it "lightly" thats called toning, not too much but enough to get a bit lighter and get the skin color even.. Same cream just different procedure, the toners normally use sunscreen or some other products to help the skin from bursting and burning from bleaching products, and uses less products, while the bleacher just rub until they get the desire color, which is grey, white, or pink..

People are quick to bring up Africa but skin bleaching is not only an African issue. It exists among Black Americans and even in other parts of the world where people assume everything is naturally that way. Sometimes it’s just less obvious because of climate. Let’s stop being hypocrites and be honest about reality.

It has a strange pink, grey sometimes green undertone. It’s also very evident if the person is prone to acne. The knuckles and knees will also be a giveaway
