I wouldn’t call myself psychic but I am on an ssri for the first time and during this time is also when I have started establishing a practice to get more in touch with my intuition. If anything it helped give me the capacity to dabble with things and made me more interested in developing practices that would prevent the same type of burnout I experienced on a more long term basis.

I was diagnosed with ADHD last year at 27, I would say I’ve always been quite intuitive but it’s really amped up in the last year, took me a while to realise but I think it’s down to my adhd meds!!

after 20 years of searching for an antidepressant that actually works, i have finally found one and my intuition is better than it ever has been before! i can hear it better bc i am not so miserable. i am also on an antipsychotic and my intuition has not been affected by that either

Im much more connected to myself and others around me on my antidepressants. Not taking care of every aspect of your health physically, mentally, and emotionally are the easiest ways to block your own intuition. I ❤️lexapro

Thank you for this! I actually even heard how some people believe that taking ANY type of medication (example for a cold or a headache) disconnects you from the spirit/intuition. Though I think the spirit would be happier for me that I'm not writhing in pain and taking that paracetamol 🤔

As someone with chronic depression, antidepressants are what let me get out of bed and function at all. Do the people who claim they affect intuition even have depression themselves? When I'm depressed, I'm exhausted and dealing with severe brain fog. If anything, antidepressants make it possible for me to have a practice in the first place.
