I told my landlord there was something in the attic and I was afraid it'd get in my walls and cause electrical issues. he came to my house and told me he threw poison in the attic 😐 I asked what happens if it dies in my wall and he said, verbatim "it won't. but if it does, just let it air out for a few days" 😐. it infact does in my bathroom wall, I have lupus and a small child and he's dodged my texts and calls for over a week.... they don't care anymore they just want their money. oh. forgot to mention I have only lived in this house for 3 weeks....

We pay for the outdoor property lights. It’s bullshit. These lights are in 24/7 they shine in our windows so we can’t sleep! That’s just one of the minor annoyances. I smoke and have to walk clear off the property to do so I pay $2k mo for a small 2bdrm apt.

my oven timer won’t shut off (it’s from 1960 so i know they don’t have parts for it) and is an electrical hazard if i don’t keep the breaker off for the entire oven. haven’t been able to cook in my apartment for a month today! so insane

Oh hell no. Put it all in writing especially the mold. One time they dragged their feet fixing my washer and my carpet got moldy. They weren’t going to do shit, but what they did do was replace my washer and replaced all my carpeting

same. took them 3months to fix mine. the most laughable "fix" was when he smeared some caulking over it. 😒but worst was finding out with an endoscope that they had shoved a trashbag over the spot.

That's a hot mess patch job. But to be honest we cannot find good techs. Residents are so mean and nasty to them, they walk out so we're left with ones that do the kind of work in your apartment. Go talk to the manager because im betting she does not know it looks like that. Ive done this for 25 years and theres no way she's okay with that work.

I'm dealing with the same thing. I pay my rent on time and then whenever I have an issue they never want to come and fix it but they stay raising the rent. I tried to call a lawyer, all the lawyers that I want to talk to want to charge me $150 just to talk to them.
