As a first time mama, BEEN in yalls shoes. I kid you not I was in the ER with my son a lot because I was so worried and anxious. Don’t let anyone try to knock yall down for making sure your baby girl is okay. Infants can go from 0 - 100 REAL quick, yall did the right thing 💙

Yup, took my son to the doctor when he was a baby for a concern, turns out it wasn’t life threatening. I told the ER doctor I was sorry for wasting their time and she said, “Never apologize. You did the right thing bringing him here. I’d rather you get it checked out and it be nothing than not come in.” Good job guys! ✨❤️

it's normal for babies to have swollen lymph nodes bc they are small and it will go away when they get bigger. I brought up about it once with my son to his peds at his next appointment which is very common and normal.

As a medical mama 100% always go with your gut. If something feels off always go get it checked out. Because the one time you don’t could be different. One time a doctor told us we came to the ER for gas and was laughing until he came back and told us our daughter was the sickest he had seen in his 30 years. He couldn’t believe it because she didn’t fit the normal profile of pain. Always trust your instincts and err on the side of caution. With your little one you can never be too careful. Glad she’s okay! And good for you both for trusting your instincts!

Good for Ava! I’ve learned from being a parent is TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS. If your mamas instincts are tingling you get on it. I rushed my son into the hospital days after he was born bc something didn’t feel right and he ended up having severe jaundice and he had to stay in the hospital. I did the same thing when he got hurt a few years ago and he ended up having a concussion. So TRUST YOURSELF!

Pediatrics and pregnant women… NEVER just wait to get checked. If any radar is going off in your brain, the ER would never be mad at you for going to just check. That’s what their insurance is for ❤️

My daughter had a dermoid cyst, at first I was told it was swollen lymph nodes so definitely look into dermoid cysts!
