@cbsmiami: An assistant principal at Orange Brook Elementary School in Hollywood has been reassigned following his arrest over the weekend connected to a domestic situation, according to officials. Marc Horowitz, 53, was arrested by Weston police and charged with robbery by sudden snatching without a firearm or weapon and domestic violence battery, according to Broward Sheriff's Office records. Broward County Public Schools said he is being reassigned pending further Human Resources review and action, which may include termination. BCPS said it holds school leaders to the highest standards of professional conduct and takes matters that fall short of those standards seriously. Horowitz was a 2021 teacher of the year finalist for Broward County and previously served as an instructional coach at Flamingo Elementary School. No other information was immediately available.
