@sheri.hotel.gm: I get ask all of the time what does a Hotel general manager do? well we do a lot, most of your larger chain hotels they have different departments that handle different things like your HR department, sales and catering, revenue manager, operations management, however, independent hotels the Hotel general manager will usually do all of those things with no help. Throughout my day, I’m updating the OTA sites, Hotel website, guest satisfaction, revpar, the list just goes on and on. I am success driven, so I’m not just sitting around doing nothing.
