@dollartreedinners: Chicken Parmesan Sandwiches 🍗🍅🧀 This is exactly my kind of realistic weeknight dinner, easy ingredients, very little prep, and a couple little upgrades that make it extra delicious. Add a simple side salad and dinner is done! Ingredients: • Frozen breaded chicken patties • Jarred marinara sauce • Shredded mozzarella cheese • Hamburger buns For the garlic parmesan buns: • 3 Tbsp melted butter • 2 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese • ½ tsp Italian seasoning • ¼ tsp garlic powder Directions: Cook the frozen chicken patties according to the package directions. About halfway through cooking, spoon some marinara over each patty and top with mozzarella. Return them to the oven and continue cooking until the chicken is done and the cheese is melted. While the chicken finishes, mix the melted butter, parmesan, Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Brush the mixture over the cut sides of your hamburger buns. Place the buns cut-side down in a skillet over medium heat and toast until golden brown with a crispy parmesan crust. Add a chicken parmesan patty to each toasted bun. Add a little extra marinara if you like yours saucier, then close them up and serve! I served ours with a simple side salad.
