Brother. No. The fuck are you on about, rich people do not utilize high yield savings accounts to make money, they utilize assets that appreciate way more - real estate, stock portfolios (usually with insider interest), etc.

Now imagine having a billion. You would get $1,000,000 dollars every month, just for having that money in the bank

Having $200k in the bank isn’t hoarding. Having $1b in assets on the other hand 🤔

I’ve been told by a 1% that the only tool you need to know is money, and it fixes everything. Poor me learned how to use tools to build and fix things ☹️now I work for people like him. He had a point.

There’s no such thing as rich or poor, it’s people who have knowledge and who don’t and ironically you have all the knowledge in the world in your hands.

Yk you can get higher interest rate than .01 now at credit unions other options are mixed mutual funds which average around 15% annually but yeah imagine jusy having 1 million in a mmf and living of the 150000 interest a year

The s&p 500 has averaged 10% a year since 1970, if you make 100k a year and put just 1k a month into the market you'd have 2 million dollars after 30 years

their was a time late 90s early 2000s where 1 million made 45k in interest PER YEAR!

I have 11k in my portfolio and I’m getting paid $200 a month off of dividend stocks. It’s not as safe as a HYSA but the kickbacks and growth is 3x what I’d be getting from a HYSA
