Ex student. One of the only people on campus actually studying in the study rooms. Ended up leaving because they stole money from me and swept my bsf’s SA under the rug to uphold “purity culture”. Only went due to religious pressure from family. It sucked. Don’t go.

I feel like a lot of LU students are there because of parental pressure. Like parents won’t pay for college or fill out the parent portion of FAFSA if their child doesn’t choose an “approved” school.

my boyfriend was actually just telling me about how he took some of their online courses in middle school. Apparently in their american history class they spent a week on the civil war, a week combined on the vietnam,korean and cold wars, and TWO MONTHS on ww2. and all of it was about how america was so great etc etc, his parents took him out of it when they realized

I’m a Christian & even ion wanna go there anytime soon. Everyone that I know who’s spoken about applying just mentions the religious aspect and nothing about programs or opportunities. Their dress code is crazy strict and they also don’t allow 1 on 1 opposite sex hangouts or visits. There has to be a 3rd person if you’re going into visit the room of the opposite sex (which most of the time isn’t allowed anyways) & PDA is not permitted I guess it’s a great option if you wanna get into ministry career-wise though.
