Unless he ate that meat raw, this shouldn’t have happened. If it was cooked, all of that bacteria would’ve been neutralized.

this happened to me, it would happen as anaphylaxis severely 3 times and I nearly died before my daughter asked me if i had eaten beef venison or pork, and if i had could have experienced a tick bite.. i abstained from “hoofed” meat until i was tested and got confirmation.. i still avoid those meats to this day

I got bit by a lone star tick..had a terrible rash..2 months later I went into anaphylactic shock over 2 Nathan hot dogs..now for 3 years going I can only eat bird or fish..this is nothing to mess with..it was horrible!!!

My husband had 3 episodes where his face was swollen really bad! He finally found out he has alpha gal. He only eats chicken, turkey, and fish. When he would eat red meat he would have abdominal cramping and he would cough a lot!!
