We originally made this @Minted program for our wedding guests who traveled to Ghana from the US and UK, many of whom had never experienced a traditional Ghanaian marriage. Now that the whole internet seems to have joined the wedding 😅, I realize some of y’all need the program too. It mattered deeply to us that our marriage ceremony be deeply and intentionally Ghanaian; staying true to the traditions that have been carried for millennia. The knocking. The gifts. The negotiations. The groom’s family coming to ask for the “flower” in the house. The families agreeing.
